Fashion’s Love Affair with Cats - Shop 12 Runway Inspired Accessories
Words via stylecaster
Heres something weve known for a long time: The fashion world is obsessed with cats. And its not just Karl Lagerfeld and Grace Coddington—both publicly proud feline owners—who can attest to this sentiment.
In the 2016 pre-fall collections, designers such as Stella McCartney, Miu Miu, and Gucci showcased literal cat prints on everything from cowboy boots to sweaters, with McCartney taking it a step further and featuring a real Persian cat in the labels lookbook. And, as it turns out, the fixation has continued through Fall 2016, making the trend even more available.

At Loewe, designer J.W. Anderson sent models down the runway sporting supersize kitschy cat necklaces. Then, at Chanel, blouses and diamond-blinged-out bracelets were covered in the now-famed cat emoji. No surprise there, since we all know that Karl Lagerfeld and his cat Choupette are in love.
Even Dolce & Gabbana and Marc Jacobs got on board, printing cats on midi dresses and pussy-bow blouses, respectively.
Luckily, there are lots of cat-inspired pieces to add to your wardrobe in stores right now, at every price point.
