Chinese Zodiac Year of the Monkey

2016 / Chinese Zodiac Year of the Monkey

Feb 8th 2016 - Jan 27 2017

The monkey often seen as a rather mischievous, yet highly intelligent animal, and in old times, it was often associated with nobility due to its same pronunciation as high official in Chinese.

It is one of animals in the Chinese zodiac that really represents a sense of cleverness.

Twelve animals make up the Chinese zodiac, known as Sheng Xiao: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. Just like all the other signs, the Year of the Monkey comes around once every 12 years — so it wont be celebrated again until 2028!
